Costco Cake Order Sheet

Meeting with a gangster ...

This night is really noisy. Prisoners talk to each other (in incomprehensible slang ...) through the small door of their cell door. I sense a certain excitement that is probably due in court when summoned by certain prisoners. The guards are silent ...
I wait quietly in the afternoon (it's long hours of waiting locked up, doing nothing ...) and a policeman came to me look in my cell. I collect shoes and jacket and this time round: innovation! I see myself dressed in a shiny pair of handcuffs, hands in front, before getting into the police car. Boom! It starts well! ... hello atmosphere! ...

arrived in court, again by the back door, this time there is television. A camera filming me falling within the court ... voila, the handcuffs, it might be for the media ?!... maybe not ?!... short!
Upon my arrival, Ray, my lawyer tells me that the airline's claim amounts to approximately U.S. $ 22,000 (the exact amount to the penny is not yet known) and the Canadian justice penalizing me for $ 10,000 Cdn to settle within 4 months (for the fine Canadian only). But "good" news, I could leave today cell before paying the money. Finally, the end of hell!

Before entering the courtroom, I am "stored" without shoes in a small cell ... a waiting room somewhat, but much less fun than the dentist! And then I discovered a young man of 18, excitedly, turning around in this small room, which looks like me the way to court. I sit quietly and we meet ... I understood then that I really am on the other side of the wall! ... not good, alas! He asks me what brings me here and I told him my story ... He laughs surprised to such treatment for such a reason ... He can almost hear a count for children ends badly! I understand his reaction because from the outside, my story may sound funny ... or laugh! Well, not me! In my turn, I would refer the question "but what you then do to be there?". There is already less funny ... He explains with an accent that makes me do it again from time to time, he pointed a gun a "coffee shop" with an accomplice and that he injured two people. But why? ... "For money!" he replied with disarming sincerity. Whaoo! While my story made him laugh, as his puzzled me. But what am I doing in this mess with this offender boosted between these four walls ?!...
He explains that he also went to the police himself because he was remorseful ... He faces two years in prison and he asked me: "well?" I answered him tit for tat: "No, but if you visited, it means that you can get out of it and started a family, work, travel" ... It comes to discussing religion, travel, learning Foreign language ... Finally, there really, I'm on another planet ...
By cons, a strange feeling crossed my mind then: the same side of the wall, you see people who are inside a different perspective ... Certainly no excuse for his action is serious and unacceptable, but understanding some extent and also the compassion ... I think I now understand what it means dignity for inmates ... Come on, we will resume. "

A policewoman comes to the door of the room and asked my roommate (... provisional and temporary) departure from the cell door and sit for it feared a violent reaction. What he does without being asked. She asks me to accompany him in the courtroom. Strangely, I 'have no right to any specific enforcement action (no handcuffs or chains). The atmosphere seems to subside ...
This time, the judge is now ... I confirmed what my lawyer and said that I am today released under supervision until tomorrow afternoon (day trial). Well OK! I thought the trial was today, Tuesday, well, no! ... I guess they get a taste (... at least not me), see you tomorrow! It announced the warmest I've heard the beginning of this nightmare: I'm going out! Yessss! ... So "watch" means that I'm logged in a hotel room (Ray is working to find a hotel "clean"!) Of 19h at 7am and I have to go "point" to the police that day. ..

Before leaving the RCMP to take my business, I'm back in the little room where the young thug is in turn called for his trial. In his case, he is entitled to the handcuffs. When he returned to the cell, he confirms his sentence: two years in prison ... When the ruling came down, his family was in tears in the courtroom. And I see him waving to the single tile armored door motioning to his accomplice who was in a cell across the hall, he took for 2 years. It did not seem to affect him more than that !!... At 18, the best years of a life! What a mess!

return to the RCMP: in the car with the young offender and handcuffed me (free) on the back of a police vehicle. The guards and a policeman makes me all my belongings, including what was missing in my bag except my PC, my PDA and module Ecogyzer confiscated the plane. They can keep these items until 30 days after the trial as evidence.

me Ray booked a room at Hotel Gander. A guard cell is my intention to take me in his personal vehicle. Nice! I run a good courage to other inmates and I rest my file without asking!
Outside it was raining a fine drizzle. Freedom is so valuable when it is private!

Gander Hotel: a luxury hotel located right on the Trans Canada Highway No. 1, overlooking Lake Gander. Here is the view from my room.

A bed, a real one! A shower! Finally I could breathe! ... A telephone: I'm going to announce the news of my leaving my loved ones ... Happiness to hear them! But it is already almost 19:00. Curfew !!... Go, good night (a real ... this time!)
